"ENDANGERED SPECIES"

'Endangered Species' was created to illustrate Tony White's book "Animation from Pencils to Pixels ~ Classic Techniques for Digital Animators". However, the film goes further than that - it highlights the rise and fall (and hopeful rise again) of the traditional, hand-drawn animation industry in the USA. It also sets out a challenge to not let this wonderful art-form die. DRAWASSIC fully champions the message embraced by this film and will do all it can to achieve a return of quality, independent 2D animated filmmaking in the home of classical animation.
